#ThriftyThursday! River Island Mini Kidswear for £20 or Less

Since I’ve had MG, River Island has taunted me with a street-style savvy kidswear collection MG would have to wait years before he could wear. Hrumphh! They must have got my frustrated vibes, becuase..ta da, just around the corner and in time for his big 2, the high street fashion favourite has put their flag in the babywear sand with the River Island Mini kidswear collection.

From May, much like their River Island-clad older brothers and sisters, mini mes aged 0-3 can be kitted out in the hottest trends from £6-£20, great for mums on a tight budget (ahem..maternity pay). Girls’ pieces include candy hues, graphic prints, 3D flower embellishment, tropical prints (I’m crazy for a pineapple print right now) and denim. Boys can rock graffiti prints, well-cut joggers (watch out Zara), faded photographic tees and jersey blazers. Now, traditionalists do not despair, there are adorable babygros and sleep suits too.

This 100-piece collection will take your little ones from nursery and soft play to birthday parties and the front row. It’s so good I could hula hoop and dive in a pile of giant teddies (check out these campaign shots).
